Oliver Music Video!

Hey, guess what we made? A music video! Yes, it's true, and it is up
on our myspace
page for the whole world to view, on the left-hand side in our "sounds like" section. It was filmed at the end of last summer in a big field outside of Newberg, so it is a little dated, being as it features good 'ole Mark Ewer on the bass guitar. We still think it is pretty damn cool, though! It is for our song "The Stretcher," which appears on Coming Back in Waves II: Bury Memories. It was filmed by our good friend Derek Willis, who is probably the coolest guy in the world. We owe Derek a huge amount of thanks for all the great work he has done for us.
Not only that, but we spent all last weekend filming another video with Derek, for a brand new, as-yet-unreleased Oliver track called "Call Out Your Name." If you've seen us live lately you would probably recognize it as our "Dancy" song. This video promises to be even cooler than the first, so watch out for that. In the meantime check out the video for "The Stretcher" and let us know what you think! Leave us some comments, it would be much appreciated. ROCK!
Oh, yeah, and we need to let you all know that the Stroke 9 show we were scheduled to play on April 9 has been rescheduled for June 25. Apparently one of the members of Stroke 9 needs to have some surgery, so we will all have to wait a little bit before that rockin show occurs. Rest assured there will be other opportunities to see us play prior to that. If you're still looking for something to do that weekend, there are a couple of great shows on April 8! Stephan's other band Shelter Red will be at the Hawthorne Theater, and Cory's other band Timber! will be at the Ash Street. Ooooooohhhh......dueling shows! How exciting!
